How close is Windsor Hills to the theme parks?

Windsor Hills is approximately a five minute drive from Walt Disney World’s World Drive which provides access to all of the Disney theme parks and attractions.  When navigating the area by car, the use of GPS is helpful, but is not necessary. The roads are well marked, and finding your way by following the signs is very easy.  Universal Studios, I-Drive and Sea World are an approximate twenty minute drive from Windsor Hills.

How close is Windsor Hills to shopping and restaurants?

Windsor Hills is located less than one mile from Florida Route 192/ W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway which boasts hundreds of shops, pharmacies, supermarkets and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Does Windsor Hills offer shuttle service?

Windsor Hills does not offer a free shuttle to the parks. If you prefer shuttle or car service, you can stop by or call the Windsor Hills Welcome Center and a representative will assist you in booking transportation.  Uber and Lyft are common and reliable options as well.

Is Windsor Hills safe?

Yes. Windsor Hills is a secure gated community. Only preregistered guests and staff are allowed in the resort. The community has a guard house that is staffed 24/7 and employees routinely patrol the resort. The area surrounding the resort is also very safe. Windsor Hills is located in Osceola County which takes pride in ensuring the safety of their residents and guests.

Is there an additional fee for using the Windsor Hills community facilities?

No.  Your rental fee includes the use of all Windsor Hills amenities.

Is there WIFI in the villa?

Yes. WIFI is included in your rental fee. You will find information posted in the villa regarding WIFI and the password to our secure network.

Is there a BBQ available for our use?

We have a propane BBQ on site for your use at no additional charge.

Do you offer baby/toddler equipment?

We have two pack and play cribs with mattresses, sheets and blankets, a high chair and twin bed rails for toddlers along with booster seats for toddlers. We also provide a large selection of games, puzzles, books and toys, dress up clothing and pool toys.  We have several umbrella strollers for our guests to use while visiting the local attractions.

Is the villa air conditioned?

The villa has central heating and cooling along with ceiling fans to make your stay comfortable.  Our game room is air conditioned as well.

Is pool and spa heat included in the rental fee?

Pool and spa heat are optional and an extra fee. Pool and spa heat are $25 per day and just spa heat is $10 per day.

Will we need pool/spa heat during our stay?

Pool and spa heat are a personal preference. Depending on the time of year you plan on visiting, the nights may be cool and having the pool heated will ensure that the water is warm throughout the day.

Can we add pool/spa heat after we arrive?

If you decide during your stay that pool and/or spa heat is desired, we will invoice you for the heat for the remainder of your stay and upon receipt of your payment, our property manager will turn the heater on.

How warm is the pool and spa?
The pool is heated to 84 degrees Fahrenheit. The spa can be heated to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

How deep is the villa pool?

The pool depth ranges from three to five feet deep.

What safety measures are in place for the pool?

The villa is equipped with a removable safety fence that surrounds the pool. Each door that directly accesses the lanai is equipped with a hard wired alarm which sounds when the door is opened. The alarm bypass can only be reached by an adult. We have also installed manual door blocks which can prevent a child from opening the door.

Where is the villa in relation to the Community Center, Community Pool and Master Playground?

Windsor Hills is a walk-able community. From the villa, it is a six minute walk to the master playground and a 12 minute walk to the community center/pool. There is parking available if you prefer to drive to the community center.

How do we access the villa when we arrive?

Our guests will receive a rental voucher and gate pass to provide the security staff upon arrival at Windsor Hills.  Entrance to the villa is key-less.  Our guests will receive a security code to access the villa. The code is unique to your stay and provides a simple and secure way to access the villa and protect your valuables when you are away.

Who do we call if there is a problem during our stay?

We rely on a fantastic management company to service our villa.  Our property manager spends most of the day in Windsor Hills and is very prompt to respond should an issue arise. Contact information is posted inside the villa. We are also accessible by email and phone should you need assistance.

What do we need to do to reserve our dates?

Please contact us directly to reserve your dates. We require an initial deposit of $300 to secure your dates and offer several different options for payment.

When inquiring about our stay how long should we expect to wait for a reply?

We are located in the US.   Inquiries received between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST are generally responded to within an hour of receipt. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with your inquiry or specific question.
